A different way to understand your rides
RideIQ was built around a simple idea: your rides should make sense.
Cyclists record vast amounts of data, but understanding what it actually means is often reserved for advanced athletes using complex metrics. RideIQ changes that by translating every ride into a single, meaningful score based on your own history—no FTP or lab testing required.
By focusing on personal progress instead of generic benchmarks, RideIQ makes performance insights accessible, intuitive, and motivating. Riders can see how strong a ride really was, track improvement over time, and compete on a level playing field.
RideIQ turns raw data into clarity—helping cyclists train smarter and ride with purpose.
RideIQ introduces an adaptive scoring system that evaluates each ride against a rolling personal baseline. This allows riders of all levels to track meaningful progress over time without requiring lab testing or technical setup.
Start here — a 2-minute walkthrough
1. Start with a score: Open any ride and you’ll see a single RideIQ Score — a number that reflects your effort, output, and efficiency, all relative to your own riding history. No zones. No baseline setup required.

2. Compare similar rides: A previous ride with a similar route to your current ride is automatically chosen for comparison. Here you can compare differences in power and heart rate and see how perhaps a lower tire pressure, a tucked ride position or an aero helmet changed the input (your heart rate) and the output (your power) to maintain speeds. RideIQ evaluates how hard you worked to achieve a result, not just the result itself.

3. Understand why a ride was strong: Open Ride Analysis on any ride. Instead of just raw numbers, you’ll see what made the ride strong, where efficiency improved or dropped, and how pacing, effort, and conditions shaped the outcome. Think of it as a coach explaining your ride back to you.

4. Replay the effort: Use Map Replay to watch how your intensity rose and fell across the route. You can replay your effort in real time or sped up to a short 1, 3 or 5 minute session. Your maximum achievements are highlighted on the route. The map can be zoomed in and out.

5. Compete differently: The Weekly Leaderboard doesn’t rank riders by raw output. It ranks your best rides based on performance relative to your own baseline — a competition that rewards improvement, not just power. This is a competition where friends of all skills and experience can compete on a level playing field.
